Last week I showed you a peek of FaceHunter‘s new book, A Year In the Life of FaceHunter. He stopped by in Hong Kong recently for a book signing, and I’m so glad to see Cindiddy have an appearance in the book. Look here for a quick snippet of what the book is all about. Grab your own copy on Ebay if you wish. TGIF!
Yvan Rodic of FaceHunter visited Hong Kong again a few days ago for the launch of his new book, “A Year in the Life of FaceHunter”. I met up with him to say hello and get my book signed at one of my favorite stores, Kapok on Sun Street in Wanchai. Cindiddy is featured in the book, which is really exciting. Working with him on the Esprit project was a lot of fun, so it was great to see him in town. I’m sure I’ll be seeing you soon, FaceHunter!
I got to be featured in the Levi’s campaign in Milk Magazine’s issue 661, where they shot a number of Hong Kong’s creative influencers. It was an interesting experience meeting the photographer from Milk and having an impromptu photo shoot in Tsim Sha Tsui. A big thank you to Carol for thinking of including me in this snapshot project!
Pick up an issue of this month’s Hong Kong Harper’s Bazaar for an interview with me and a few other fashion influencers, including my friend Tina Leung! It’s a brief and to the point interview of my must haves and favorites for the season and upcoming fall season. (Those kinds of interviews are the best–get your information and get it fast!) Another feature in a print magazine, thanks Kennis!
If you’re in Hong Kong, go out and pick up a copy of this month’s Marie Claire for a style feature about some of the local fashion influencers in the city. I happened to make the list, and I’ve displayed the entirety of my favorite pieces for the upcoming warm months. It’s always so exciting to see my interviews in actual print media. Print is not dead! Support print journalism and go pick up a magazine now (bonus points if it’s Marie Claire).
Back in February, I was featured on the cover of HK Magazine for their Valentine’s issue along with the other half of Timdiddy, Tim Chang. We recreated scenes from classic romance movies for the spread. It was a fun bonding experience that’s for sure! Check back on our previous behind the scenes post here to revisit all of the moments we had, and read the online article here. For iPad users, you can download the HK Magazine app. and download the previous issue as well.
